Okay, so today I returned from a four day 3 night arts camp retreat with my school choir. Can I just say.... It was way more fun than I had anticipated.
A few things I learned from this trip:
1- LET IT GO: I am usually a very reserved person, but let me tell you, this trip brought out my wild side. And I have to say, it was soooo much fun! It is always good to just take a moment and let loose. Let your worries fade away and live in your sleepy slap happiness that is super hilarious! ;)
2- When you surround yourselves with good people, the spirit can abide: the girls that I stayed with in my cabin were absolutely phenomenal! We had cabin prayers, devotionals, scripture reading, spiritual moments, tender care, compassion, and some serious love going on. And I know in any circumstances, if you surround yourself with those type of people (christ-like people) you WILL feel the spirit.
3- Being away from home isn't all that terrible: I was so nervous about getting homesick on this trip. I know that because I prayed and asked Heavenly Father to help me, that he answered my prayer.
Now, I am extremely tired. So remember who you are!
Good night!
